What's this guy doing?  Looks like he's measuring a pot hole.  Why, who knows, that's what makes these photos great.  The picture is labelled Maxwell lane, which is a single block street between Larimer & Paulson Aves in Larimer.   

#OldBuccos - John Smiley circa 1988

Not sure why the long face on John in this one.  1988 was his breakout year.  He went 13-11 with a 3.25 era, laying the ground work for two All-Star appearances, a 20 win season, a near Cy Young, and a hearty deal from Cinci.
